See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

The view from the top of the fair is amazing, isn’t it?

Warning, kinda lots of text below!

Hey everybody! We’re FINALLY home, and my legs are very sore. That was a lot of walking for seven whole hours, but we did a lot today as well. I brought three things only: A bag of saltwater taffy (my favorite!), a bag of cotton candy, and a hotdog. I don’t ask for much, but the state fair is still way too expensive. There’s a good chance we aren’t going back any time soon.

Now for the rides I went on! They were lots of fun, of course! I opted out on a few, because I didn’t have enough tickets to go around (and childhood trauma of falling from high heights). Yeah, I’m a total wuss.

First, we went into the Magic Maze, which looked really cool on the outside, but was a total scam in the end. We got through it in three minutes tops! I feel like it could’ve been more magical. Oh well.

Then we went on Windstorm, which was a roller-coaster. It was an amazing experience, despite its’ small size. Good for a quick but awesome thrill.

After that, I found a really weird fun house, The Bubble House: even the outside was weird looking. On the inside, it felt like we were walking on the crazy conveyor belts of a malfunctioning factory, which was actually pretty fun. It’s called The Bubble House because there’s a hall full of suds and bubbles at the very end, and you have walk (or run, like we did!) through it. Don’t worry, it doesn’t ruin your shoes, we checked.

And the grand finale, The State Fair Ferris Wheel! After a really long line, we went on, and strangely, the height didn’t bother me. Maybe I was suppressing the trauma my stupid brain always reminds me of whenever I’m in a high place. We could see the horizon for miles around, the Dallas skyline was right in view, and we could watch the fair-goers having fun. It made me really happy inside. Maybe that’s why I wasn’t scared.

After that, we ate some fair food, but only a little. They want people to have heart attacks, I swear. Then we went home afterwards, as the fair lit up for the night goers, and I honestly think fairs look so much better at night, with all of the colorful lights.

And now I’m home, relaxing my poor feet. That’s enough rambling for tonight. I’m sleeping in tomorrow, no doubt.

PROTIP don't eat before going on any of the rides. Eat AFTER you're done with all of the rides you plan to go on. It's just my common sense.
